The Fellowship of the Ring in the Live-Action Universe.
The Fellowship of the Ring is the primary heroic organization of the J.R.R. Tolkien's franchise, The Lord of the Rings; it also appears as the primary heroic organization in the Peter Jackson's live-action film series.
A group formed as a brotherhood among members of the various Free Peoples from Middle-earth, the Fellowship's purpose is to take the One Ring to Mordor so that it might be cast into the fires of Mount Doom, the mountain in which it was forged, so that it would be destroyed and ultimately eradicate the Dark Lord Sauron. Each of the members of the Fellowship were representatives of their respective races.
The Fellowship also appears in Heroes vs. Villains as among the primary heroic organizations that fight the forces of evil.
