Erol (or Errol in Jak 3) is one of the primary antagonists of the Jak and Daxter video game franchise.  Arrogant and smug, Erol is the underling of Haven City tyrant Baron Praxis. He has an intense desire to outdo Jak in everything he does. After the events of Jak 2, the Metalheads upgrade Errol into a cyborg, intent on taking over the world. Erol has played a minor role in the Video Game Villains War.

Video Game Villains War

Battling a Mechanical Menace

After the death of Baron Praxis at the hands of the Joker, Erol becomes a gun for hire. Seeking a commission, he heads to Ganondorf's alliance. The Gerudo King and Dr. Eggman task Erol with killing Clockwerk , a rogue villain. Erol, with a Krismon guard platoon at his beck and call, manages to down the massive mechanical owl. Clockwerk fights back valiantly, killing most of Erol's guard troops. Erol, however, delivers the final coup de gras, using his speeder to behead Clockwerk.

Leading the Boss Brigade

Ganondorf tasks Erol with leading a division of bosses, including Bowser Jr., Dogadon, and Gnasty Gnorc. The first of these villains becomes quite the nuisance, often annoying Erol. Thus, when the villainous Arpeggio makes his move, Erol has Bowser Jr. take the arch-criminal out. His reasoning: should Arpeggio lose, another criminal is wiped out. Should Bowser Jr. lose, a nuisance is taken care of. As things turn out, Bowser Jr. ends up killing Arpeggio.

The Boss Brigade ends up entering a massive brawl with the forces of the Fiendish Five, led by Dingodile. After most of the members end up killing each other, Erol is left to deal with the Panda King and Dingodile all by himself. Arming himself with a Precursor robot, he breaks free of some rocky confines with some inadvertent help from the Panda King. He kills the Panda King with a plasma pistol and then exchanges fire with Dingodile. Dingodile pulls off a clever move and stuns Erol's mech with a cart of dynamite, but Erol uses the mech's rocket boosters to gain the high ground and unleash its full arsenal of lasers; Dingodile dies instantly.
