Eobard Thawne (famously known as Professor Zoom) is a major antagonist in the DC universem, first appearing in the The Flash #139 comic strip, as the greatest nemesis of the eponymous super-hero. A powerful time-traveller, and the progenitor of Super Negative Force, Thawne is capable of outwiting his foe, not only with his super powers, but also through cunning and deceit. He is a secondary player in the Non-Disney vs. DC Villains War.
