Maxwell is a significant player in the third Disney Vs Non Disney Villains War as well as the Non Disney Villains Tournament.
Pre War: A Mother Taken
Young Enrico Maxwell appears in the alley where we witnesses the death of his mother at the hands of Frollo. Frollo threatens the boy to keep silent of what he has seen unless he wishes to join his mother in death. Later, Enrico is placed in the care of Father Alexander Anderson, to whom he swears that he will have vengeance against Frollo.
A now adult Enrico Maxwell meets with Frollo at the Vatican to discuss a truce between their warring factions. Frollo does not recognize Enrico, and refuses, attempting to intimidate Maxwell and Anderson, being backed by Captain Hook and his crew. As Maxwell and Anderson leave, Anderson vows to cut Frollo to pieces next time they meet.
A Callous Celebrant
After the Major bombs most of London, a meeting of Iscariot priests is held. When the other priests inform Maxwell of the death of most of London's citizens as well as the President of the United States, Maxwell responds with utter apathy, as he does not lament the deaths of non-Catholics. Futhermore, the Major's actions fit right into his plans. The priest then invites a man named King Bradley into a meeting, unaware that Bradley is really a monstrous Homunculus called Wrath. Maxwell proposes an alliance, only for Bradley to spurn it, rejecting God entirely. When a member of Iscariot, Cortez, ends up dead as a result of this conference, Maxwell decides to set up a surprise attack, revealing the details only to Alexander Anderson.
The Next Phase
Enrico Maxwell joins forces with Charles zi Britannia, dispatching a corrupt priest, to the hands of Heinkel Wolfe, who gave away Cortez's location in front of him. This once again brings him into conflict with Wrath, who also works under Britannia.
