Elisa Maza is one of the main protagonists of the Disney's television series Gargoyles. A half-African, half-Native American private detective of New York City, Elisa Maza became involved in searching for the existence of the legendary "gargoyles", eventually meeting Goliath and his clan, becoming one of the non-gargoyle recruits of the clan. As the series progress, Elisa displayed affection for Goliath, desiring more than ever to defend his clan from any force that it would harm them. She appears in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains War as one of S.H.U.S.H.'s chief agents and detective privates, though she has yet to meet Goliath's clan at that point.
