ENCOM International tagline

ENCOM International is a fictional American multinational computer technology corporation that appears in Disney's Tron franchise. ENCOM developed many important programs and technologies such as digitization hardware and software, the MCP and, of course, Tron. In the 1980s, ENCOM was mainly focusing on defense systems and mainframes but quickly began focusing more on video games after the amazing success and profits produced by games such as Space Paranoids and Light Cycles. It was formerly run by software engineers Alan Bradley and Kevin Flynn, before the latter would acquire the company as his own In the 2009, the company was acquired by Kevin Flynn's son, Sam, who took over in the absence of his father. Since then, ENCOM became the world's largest video game company, with the main framework building serving as a mediator between the modern world and the digital world of the Grid.

ENCOM is also mentioned in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains as the company formerly acquired by Kevin Flynn and his allies. Its status remain currently unknown.
