Darwin
Darwin is the deuteragonist of the animated film April and the Extraordinary World. A common cat which happened to be experimented by the family of Frankilns, Darwin was tested on a special serum, giving him the ability to talk. Ever since then, Darwin became the canine companion of April Frankin, accompanying her to save Earth from its imminent destruction. When they discovered a sinister conspiracy led by the two experiments Rodrigue and Chimène to end the world they knew, Darwin volunteered to save Earth by installing the rocket loaded with vegetation across outer space, destroying it in the process, though he found himself on the Moon shortly after. Eventually, he was rescued by astronauts from Earth, indicating the better health conditions and technological advancements of the planet, leaving him to return safely to his home planet.
Darwin also appears in the second Heroes vs. Villains, accompanying April in her adventures throughout the events of the war.
