Cyrus is a supportive figure in the animated feature film, Heavy Metal 2000. The chieftain of the Holy Land's region and the leader of its people, Cyrus served his purpose in the original film by sending Odin to track down the "key" that would unlock the Chamber of Immortality, later welcoming him and his party back to the citadel, before he was betrayed and killed by Odin himself to let Tyler, the carrier of the key, and his army advance on the stronghold and open the gateway of the Chamber of Immortality.
He also appeared in the finale of Heroes vs. Villains War, assuming the same role he portrayed in the original film.
