Crysta is one of the primary protagonists of the animated-fantasy film, Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, and in it's sequel, Ferngully 2: The Magical Rescue. A kind and gentle fairy, curious about the world outside of the Rainforest, Crysta is the apprentice of the benevolent sorceress, Magi Lune and a close friend to Pips and Batty Coda. Initially, Crysta set on a journey to stop Hexxus from spreading his influence into the universe, with the aid of the human Zak Young, eventually sealing the spirit within a tree, as a form of imprisonment. However, she anticipates a new threat approaching, when another source of evil is spread through the universe, threatening their homeworld in Heroes vs. Villains War, thus she lent her aid to Avatat, Peter Pan, and the other forces of good.
