Copper is Amos Slade's top hunting dog, assisting him in many of the villain wars. At the same time, he was once childhood friends with the fox Tod, unbeknownst to Slade. In the events of Disney Heroes vs Villains, circumstances drive a wedge between Copper and Tod's camaraderie.

Evil Copper

Upon requested by Shan-Yu, Amos Slade takes his hunting dog, Copper, on a journey to find Tzekel-Kan in the legendary city of El Dorado. There, Amos Slade sets a trap for the shaman to reveal himself, while Copper awaits for the right moment to attack. However, Tzekel-Kan proves cunning enough for the hunter to fall into one of his bear traps. Copper then turns his attention to his master, as he is bleeding to death. He tries, unsuccessfully, to release Slade from his trap, only to his shock, that his master pass out. Copper is not seen for the rest of the war, thus his fate remains currently unknown.
