The Colossus of Rhodes is a marvelous and giant metallic resembling giant, which is depicted as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Serving as the first and tutorial boss battle in the video game installment, God of War II, the Colossus makes his first debut in the series, during the early events of Animated vs. Video Game Villains War.

Zeus brings the Colossus to life to dispatch a new threat from another universe, Hades. The God of the Underworld blasts with his fire powers at the giant, wounding him in the chest. Hades then uses all of his powers to incinerate the Colossus alive, before he would deal with Zeus personally.
