Cobra Soldiers are the secondary villains of G.I. Joe franchise, acting as the main force of COBRA, ruled by the lethal military commander, Cobra Commander. Though, the G.I. Joe: Renegades incarnations of the characters are mostly featured in the villains tournaments, several depictions of the characters in other series, included the G.I. Joe: Resolute and the 1985 series, G.I. Joe: An American Hero, also appear in the villains wars. They are secondary players in the villains tournaments.
