Clayface is a noted enemy of Batman in both the DC comic book universe and the resulting animated universe. Though Clayface has a number of alter egos, the most famous is of actor Basil Karlo. An accomplished shapeshifter, thief, and occasional murderer, Clayface is considered one of Batman's most powerful nemeses.
