Cervantes de Leon is a secondary antagonist in the Soulcalibur fighting game franchise. A former possessor of the demonic blade known as the Soul Edge, Cervantes is a secondary player in the Video Game Villains War.

Cervantes is the original possessor of the Soul Edge, a powerful weapon sought after by the Lich King. The Lich King has one of his disciples, Zelgius, try to take it from Cervantes. The two clash blades, and it seems as if Zelgius is gaining the advantage. At the last second, Cervantes pulls out a gun and shoots the knight; his armor useless, Zelgius slumps to the ground, dead.

Resurrection
But Cervantes manages to survive from beyond the grave. Now a ghost, Cervantes allies with the also newly resurrected LeChuck; the two form a zombie pirate army to rule the seas.
