The Catherine Palace is the central site of the town of Tsarskoye Selo (Puskin), located on the southern region of St. Petersburg, in Russia. It is famously known as the summer vacation residence of the Russian Imperial Family, housing the Tsars, until their dissolution by the Bolshevik Party. The Palace is also featured in the Don Bluth's animated film, Anastasia, as the residence of the Romanov family, and formely to the mad monk Rasputin. In the present events of the film, the Catherine Palace is used as the lair of con artists like Dimitri and Vladimir, before it is abandonded, for their journey to France.
Regarding the villain tournaments, the Catherine Palace appears, as the main site of St. Petersburg, with the location from the Don Bluth's film, being used to represent the palace's existence.
