Events of the War[]

Origins[]

Thousands of eons ago, before humanity or even time itself existed, monsters, demons, and all manner of eldritch creatures ruled the cosmos. One of the oldest and most powerful of them all was the spirit of destruction and death known only as the Lich, a being of pure darkness who ruled over all the others with an iron fist. However, an upstart demon known as Aku chose to rebel against the Lich and usurp his power for himself. Acting on his intentions, Aku launched an attack on the Lich’s lair, where the creature was plotting with his acolytes (two chaotic spirits known as Mirage and Bill Cipher), and openly challenged him. The Lich accepted Aku’s challenge, and the two dueled for supremacy. Although Aku’s power was great, it was no match for the Lich, who quickly gained the upper hand and severely damaged Aku’s body. However, as the two were dueling, Bill Cipher’s treacherous nature began to manifest, as the acolyte saw an opportunity to betray his master and seize power for himself. As the Lich prepared to finish Aku off, Bill attacked from behind, briefly paralyzing him with magic. Although the Lich was only stunned for a moment, that was long enough for Aku, who completely obliterated the Lich’s body with several thrown fireballs. Impressed, Mirage decided to join Bill, as the two turned on Aku, double-teaming him before he even had the chance to celebrate his victory. The two bombarded Aku with blasts of magic, seemingly destroying him. Recognizing that the Lich was so powerful that the destruction of his body would only be a temporary solution, Bill convinced Mirage to combine their powers and cast a spell that would keep the Lich from ever returning, as long as they were alive to maintain the spell. Now free to do as they pleased, the two went their separate ways. Unbeknownst to them, a piece of Aku's essence survived, and, after floating in space for several hundred eons, landed on Earth.

A thousand eons ago, towards the end of the Age Of Monsters, the universe had erupted into chaos. With the three most powerful demon lords (the Lich, Aku, and Trigon) all destroyed, a power vacuum was left in their place. One particularly powerful spirit rose up to fill it: the spirit of darkness known as Vaatu. However, several other godlike beings, led by Oberon and Zeus, joined forces in order to resist the dark spirit's reign. Together, the group led a combined assault on Vaatu. A brutal battle ensued, as Oberon and his forces found that, even with their combined power, they were still unable to destroy Vaatu. In a final desperate attempt, the gods succeeded in using their full strength to imprison Vaatu, where they hoped he would remain forever. With Vaatu gone, the Old Gods (as they would later be known) became the undisputed rulers of the cosmos. During their eons-long reign, they managed to bring order to the universe, eventually leading to the birth of humanity.

Part One[]

Mojo Jojo, tired of his constant defeats in Townsville, began searching for other lands to conquer. One that caught his eye was the Ice Kingdom. Thinking it would be easy to conquer, Mojo Jojo travelled there, but found himself confronted by the kingdom’s ruler, the Ice King. Angered by the ape’s intrusion, the King demanded that he leave. Mojo, however, laughed off his threats and mocked the King. The King then revealed his ice magic, creating an army of snow creatures and sending them to attack the invader. Mojo, however, merely blasted the creatures down with a laser cannon. Mojo then turned his attention to the King, attempting to shoot him with the laser. However, the Ice King managed to dodge and block the attacks with an ice shield, much to Mojo’s frustration. The King then retaliated, stunning the ape with an icy blast. However, as the Ice King prepared to finish him off, Mojo revealed a hidden pistol and shot the King, knocking him unconscious. With the Ice King defeated, Mojo Jojo gleefully laid claim to the Ice Kingdom.

Meanwhile, in space, the intergalactic conqueror Lord Dominator, in the interest of further expanding her empire, met with one of the most infamous villains in the galaxy and the new lord of Eternia, Skeletor. Dominator explained that he was the only villain she had encountered who had not yet surrendered to her, and demanded that he swear fealty to her and declare her the greatest villain in the galaxy. However, Skeletor refused outright. Enraged, Dominator departed, promising to crush Skeletor upon her return.

Shortly afterward, Dominator rallied her robotic army and attacked Eternia. She then deployed her robotic soldiers, frightening off Skeletor’s own soldiers. Undaunted, Skeletor used his magic to shut down Dominator’s army. Panicking, Dominator attempted to use her ship’s drill to destroy Eternia. Skeletor, however, used his magic to ram the drill through Dominator’s ship, severely damaging it. As Dominator screamed in rage at her defeat, her ship exploded from the damage, taking her with it, much to Skeletor's amusement.

Back on Earth, HYDRA’s headquarters on Hydra Island were invaded by Baron Zemo, who had come to retake control of the organization. However, HYDRA's current leader, Baron von Strucker, revealed that he had anticipated Zemo’s attack, and had hired a highly recommended assassin named Slade to deal with him. Slade revealed himself, and the two began a duel. Zemo struck the first blow, knocking Slade to the ground with his sword. However, Slade recovered, and quickly gained the upper hand, knocking Zemo across the room. However, before Slade could strike the killing blow, Zemo threw a small bomb at Slade, seemingly killing him in the ensuing explosion. With Slade gone, Zemo easily defeated Strucker and took control of HYDRA.

Elsewhere, Bill Cipher heard of another creature named Discord, who had recently conquered the realm of Equestria. Fearing that the creature of chaos may be growing even more powerful than him, Bill set out to eliminate Discord. Travelling to Equestria, Bill challenged Discord to a duel. Believing that the small triangular creature would be easy to defeat, Discord accepted. Even though Bill grew to enormous size, Discord initially took the upper hand, nearly banishing Bill back to his own dimension. However, Bill managed to recover just in time, and revealed his true power, turning a terrified Discord to stone.

Meanwhile, in New York City, the ninja warrior and crime lord, the Shredder, was growing annoyed by the operations of billionaire and criminal mastermind David Xanatos hurting his business. Resolving to destroy his rival personally, Shredder confronted Xanatos in his home. Xanatos attempted to defend himself, but was no match for Shredder, who quickly defeated him in combat. However, as Shredder gloated over his enemy and prepared to kill him, Xanatos smugly revealed that his attempts to fight Shredder had merely been to buy time. At that moment, one of Xanatos’ Steel Clan robots entered. Outmatched by the superior arsenal of the robot, Shredder was forced to flee, while Xanatos taunted him.

In the Fire Nation, Fire Lord Ozai was confronted by a sorcerer named Mumm-Ra, who demanded that Ozai cede control of the Fire Nation to him. Unintimidated by Mumm-Ra's frail appearance, Ozai attacked him. However, much to Ozai’s shock, Mumm-Ra transformed into his much more powerful Ever-living form, and beat Ozai back. The sorcerer then gave the Fire Lord a mere few days to give up his throne or die, and then departed. Ozai, unwilling to agree to Mumm-Ra's terms but unable to defeat him, decided to outsource the job to someone more powerful.

The next day, Ozai awakened a powerful demon named Aku, and tasked him with defeating Mumm-Ra. Aku, impressed by the mortal's courage and eager to test his own power, agreed, and confronted Mumm-Ra in his temple. Mumm-Ra transformed into his Ever-living form once again, but Aku proved more powerful than the sorcerer expected, and quickly overwhelmed Mumm-Ra, causing him to revert back to his decayed form. Heavily weakened, Mumm-Ra was forced to retreat back into his tomb. Satisfied with his victory, Aku departed, while Ozai looked on in satisfaction.

Returning from his loss to Xanatos, Shredder realized he may need allies if he was going to succeed. With this in mind, Shredder visited his old ally, the alien Krang. Together, the two began planning their rise to power.

Meanwhile, Aku, finally free to “smite the world as [he] did in days long past”, began his quest to regain power, beginning by conquering a small Japanese village.

All the while, Bill Cipher observed the conflicts taking place across the globe. Realizing a war was on the horizon, Bill began plotting his master scheme.

Part Two[]

In his dark castle, the powerful wizard No Heart was confronted by a duck sorceress named Magica De Spell. Magica had come in hopes of killing No Heart and stealing his magic to increase her own power. Fortunately, No Heart had conjured a powerful amulet to aid him. Magica attacked with her wand, but No Heart’s amulet shielded him from the attack. Magica then used her cauldron to conjure a spell powerful enough to destroy No Heart. However, No Heart used his amulet to absorb the effects spell, much to De Spell’s horror. No Heart then turned the spell back on the arrogant witch, obliterating her.

Back in America, the leader of the terrorist organization Cobra, Cobra Commander, and the supervillain Dr. Drakken found themselves at odds. The two met to negotiate a truce, but tempers flared at the meeting, and the two ended up declaring war on each other instead.

The next day, the two met in battle. Resolving to strike first and wipe Drakken’s forces off the map, Cobra Commander attempted to launch an aerial assault on his headquarters. Drakken was ready for him, however, and responded by firing a laser cannon, shooting down several of the Commander’s soldiers. Cobra Commander retaliated by firing a missile at Drakken’s base, destroying the laser and allowing him to continue his attack. As a last resort, Drakken sent out his prototype Destructo-Bots to meet Cobra Commander's forces. However, due to the doctor’s incompetence, the poorly-designed robots began to malfunction, and ultimately destroyed themselves before they even had a chance to engage Cobra’s soldiers. Realizing his total defeat, Drakken attempted to flee in a hovercraft. Cobra Commander, however, refused to let Drakken escape, and sent his troops to pursue him, eventually causing the doctor to fall from his hovercraft and stranding him on top of a nearby restaurant, where he was immediately captured by Cobra Commander's soldiers. However, while the Commander reveled in his victory, Drakken’s second-in-command, Shego, managed to escape.

Meanwhile, the vengeful human-hating gargoyle Demona heard of a mutant named Magneto, who was also seeking the extermination of humanity. Paying Magneto a visit, Demona offered an alliance with the mutant, but Magneto, knowing the gargoyle's history of betraying her allies, rejected her offer. Enraged, Demona attacked, firing at Magneto with her rocket launcher. However, Magneto used his magnetic powers to throw off Demona’s aim and rip her weapon from her grasp. With Demona disarmed, Magneto believed he had won. However, Demona instead savagely attacked Magneto, catching him off guard and badly injuring him with her claws, leaving her enemy defeated.

During one of his stays in Arkham Asylum, the Joker received word that in his absence, another evil clown known as Freakshow had weaseled in and established his Circus Gothica on his territory. Fuming with rage, Joker swore vengeance, and escaped from Arkham that night. Confronting his rival after one of his shows, Joker threatened him with a gun. Unintimidated, Freakshow revealed his ability to control ghosts, and used his magic scepter to summon several to chase Joker away. Thinking quickly, Joker shot the scepter out of Freakshow’s hand, causing it to shatter and break Freakshow's control over the ghosts. With his enemy powerless, Joker then shot a pile of boxes, causing them to collapse on top of Freakshow and crush him to death, much to Joker’s glee.

Meanwhile, the Septarian mastermind, Toffee, heard that the leader of the magical-creature hunting Huntsclan, the Huntsman, was planning on making him his next target. Resolving to strike first, Toffee met with his ally, Ludo, and tasked him with eliminating the Huntsman before he could come after him. Ludo agreed, and took his monster army in pursuit of their enemy. However, they were spotted by the Huntsman and his apprentice, the Huntsgirl. Ludo ordered his monsters to attack, but they proved to be no match for the combined skills of the Huntsman and the Huntsgirl, and were quickly defeated, forcing Ludo to retreat.

Back at Ludo’s castle, Toffee quickly learned of Ludo's failure, as he was confronted by the Huntsman and Huntsgirl, who had followed Ludo back to Toffee. The Huntsgirl attacked first, punching straight through Toffee’s chest. However, much to her surprise, the lizard managed to quickly heal the wound. Shocked, the Huntsman used his staff to slice off Toffee's arm, which he also regenerated. The Huntsgirl then attacked again, but Toffee easily held off her attacks. As the Huntsman attempted one last attack, Toffee chose to show him just how strong he really was, slapping the Huntsman aside hard enough to send him flying through a wall. Seeing her master defeated, the Huntsgirl reluctantly abandoned her quarry and followed after him, as Toffee coldly taunted her.

Back in space, Skeletor had succeeded in taking control of Lord Dominator’s empire and becoming the most powerful villain in the galaxy, gathering a loyal group of warriors and forcing almost all other villains to submit to him. The leader of the robotic Decepticons, Megatron, decided that they were unable to challenge Skeletor's might, and instead sought an alliance. Megatron then met with Skeletor, who agreed to ally with him, on the condition that the Decepticons prove their worth by dealing with an alien warlord who had been giving Skeletor trouble, named Gorrath.

In deep space, Megatron and the Decepticons clashed with Gorrath’s forces, engaging his mech soldiers. Gorrath sent in more troops, but these were met with heavy resistance. Irritated, Gorrath deployed a much larger UMD robot, finally proving a challenge for the Decepticons. As the UMD fired on Megatron's troops, Megatron blasted the robot with a missile, landing a critical hit on the UMD and shutting it down. Seeing his forces crumble, Gorrath was forced to flee the battle in an escape pod, leaving Megatron to solidify his alliance with Skeletor.

In New York, Krang, who was seeking to increase his and Shredder's power, watched Demona's success with great interest.

Meanwhile, the Joker, having successfully regained his territory, was approached by the Green Goblin, who had big plans for the war and proposed an alliance. Intrigued, the Joker accepted.

Meanwhile, the HIVE Academy was visited by a pair of mysterious individuals, who made a deal with the headmistress.

Back in New York, Xanatos and his right-hand man, Owen, inspected their new army of Steel Clan robots, preparing for the future conflicts to come.

All over the world, villains began to gather their forces. In the Fire Nation capital, Fire Lord Ozai rallied the armies of the Fire Nation. In America, Cobra Commander gathered the forces of Cobra. The Huntsman prepared the Huntsclan for battle, while Baron Zemo solidified his control over HYDRA. Meanwhile, No Heart prepared to rule the magical world and crush any sorcerer who stood in his way.

Meanwhile, Toffee took the next step in his plans by forging a deadly alliance with the evil goddess Mirage.

Part Three[]

Back in the Ice Kingdom, Mojo Jojo sought to create an army of intelligent animals with which to win the war. With this goal in mind, Mojo began experimenting on a pair of lab mice, granting them increased intelligence. However, the more intelligent of the two, dubbed 'the Brain’, refused to serve Mojo, having plans of his own. Together with his partner, Pinky, Brain escaped from his cage, much to Mojo's shock and fury. Brain then commandeered one of Mojo's laser cannons, blasting Mojo and knocking him into the lair's arsenal. However, as Brain celebrated his 'victory’, Mojo Jojo emerged, armed to the teeth. Mojo attacked Pinky and Brain, blasting them repeatedly. The two mice were forced to make a quick retreat, escaping the lab, while Mojo Jojo seethed in anger.

Meanwhile, continuing his quest for power, Aku decided to take the throne of Hell, which meant overthrowing its current occupant, an androgynous demon known only as Him. Aku went to confront Him, who immediately sent his spider minions to deal with his challenger. Though Aku made quick work of Him’s minions, Him himself proved a more challenging foe, managing to damage Aku with his acid breath. Him then transformed into a giant lobster-like creature with extra heads for arms. Undeterred, Aku transformed into a gorilla, beating Him into submission and depowering him. As Him pleaded for mercy, Aku tossed him into a bottomless void, and took control of Hell.

Back in the world of mortals, two businessmen found themselves at odds. The aardvark industrialist Cyril Sneer was growing annoyed by the company of Mr. Burns stealing away his business. Sneer met with Burns and threatened him, giving him a week to leave town or die. As Sneer departed, Burns decided to act before Sneer could follow through on his threats.

A week later, as Sneer and his henchmen rode out to kill Burns, Burns and his assistant, Smithers, drove out to meet them. As planned, Sneer didn’t see Burns’ car in time and crashed into it, killing him instantly, much to Mr. Burns’ delight.

Elsewhere, the leader of the terrorist organization known as MAD, Dr. Claw, decided to make a stand in the war by eliminating an old rival of his, the toad crime boss Baron Greenback. Claw sent a pair of robots to Greenback's headquarters in England to assassinate the baron. Unfortunately, Greenback saw them coming and was ready for them. As the robots prepared to break down the door to his office, the baron had two of his henchmen waiting to spray them with a corrosive gas. However, the incompetent henchmen accidentally sprayed themselves, allowing the robots to continue their advance. Fortunately, Greenback activated a trap that took down the robots. However, Claw was not so easily defeated, and revealed that he had more robots waiting to attack the compound. Seeing that he was outnumbered and outmatched, Greenback attempted to flee. Dr. Claw, however, refused to let him escape, and, using a remote-controlled cannon, gunned the baron down.

Meanwhile, crime lord Valmont had finally tracked down a magical talisman that could grant him great power. However, unbeknownst to him, a billionaire named Vlad Masters, who was also searching for the talisman, had overheard his plans and decided to claim the talisman first.

Later, Valmont and his thugs arrived at the location of the talisman, only to find Vlad there already. Angered, Valmont ordered his men to kill Vlad. However, Masters revealed himself to be the ghostly supervillain Vlad Plasmius, and fought off Valmont’s henchmen. In the midst of the confusion, however, Valmont managed to claim the talisman, and with his increased power, he managed to temporarily subdue Plasmius. However, Vlad quickly recovered, and attacked again with renewed vigor, blasting Valmont and knocking the talisman from his grasp, allowing Plasmius to claim it. With the talisman now in his possession, Vlad made quick work of Valmont's remaining henchmen and departed, much to Valmont's frustration.

Meanwhile, the criminal mastermind known as Negaduck was hired by a mysterious individual to steal a priceless diamond from a museum. Negaduck gathered his team of supervillains, Megavolt, Quackerjack, Bushroot, and Liquidator, (also known as the Fearsome Five), and set out to complete the theft. However, on Hydra Island, Baron Zemo had received word of this and, eager to test his own team of supervillains, the Masters Of Evil (consisting of Enchantress, Wonder Man, Executioner, Crimson Dynamo, and Abomination), decided to intercept the theft.

Later, as the Five took the diamond, Zemo and his allies arrived. Negaduck ordered Megavolt and Bushroot to deal with them, but they were quickly dispatched by Crimson Dynamo and Enchantress. However, Liquidator was able to take out Wonder Man by firing himself at him, but knocked himself unconscious in the process. Quackerjack knocked Zemo himself down with a spring, only for the Abomination to step up and knock out Quackerjack with a powerful punch. However, as the Masters of Evil were celebrating their victory, Negaduck managed to escape with the diamond.

In space, Skeletor, with the aid of his Evil Warriors and the Decepticons, had nearly completed his domination of the galaxy. Only one more planet was needed to fully establish his empire, one that was crucial to the galaxy's trade routes and yet had never been fully conquered: Earth. Doing some research on the planet, Skeletor learned of the war taking place between Earth’s villains, and intrigued by the challenge of it, Skeletor decided to enter the war himself and win.

On Earth, a meeting was held between the Green Goblin, the Joker, and Valmont. The Goblin proposed that the three of them join forces, a prospect the others agreed with, although the Joker seemed to have an ulterior motive.

Meanwhile, another group of alien conquerors, the Homeworld Gems, decided to commence their own plans for conquest of Earth.

Part Four[]

Mirage, seeking to increase her and Toffee's power, decided to hunt down a group of magical creatures known as Smurfs and harvest their magic energy for herself. Locating the Smurfs, Mirage found them in the possession of a wizard named Gargamel, who also sought to use them to increase his power. Taunting the wizard, Mirage teleported the Smurfs away, much to Gargamel's anger. Gargamel then used one of his magical devices to create a powerful wind, briefly staggering Mirage. However, the goddess proved to be far out of Gargamel's league in power, destroying the device and knocking the wizard back. Gargamel attempted to attack again, but Mirage decided to end the battle quickly, and teleported him into a river, where he was carried away by the current. However, unbeknownst to either of them, No Heart had been watching their battle with great interest.

Beginning their invasion plans, the leaders of the Homeworld Gems decided to send their toughest warrior, Jasper, to claim the headquarters of another invader, the robotic queen of Cluster Prime, Vexus. On Earth, Jasper attacked Vexus’ base. Annoyed by the intrusion, Vexus sent her robotic soldiers to defend the base, but these were quickly destroyed by Jasper. Vexus, however, proved to be a much more challenging foe, as she blocked Jasper's punches and knocked her to the ground. Before Jasper could recover, Vexus sent her flying into a generator, electrocuting her. While Jasper was occupied, Vexus decided to take the opportunity to escape back to Cluster Prime, much to Jasper's frustration.

In New York, Krang was attempting to attack a laboratory and steal it's technology to aid Shredder's cause. Things went well at first, until Krang and his henchmen encountered a group of Decepticons that had been sent by Skeletor to scout out Earth in preparation for his arrival. Their leader, Starscream, was eager to prove his capability as a leader to the other Decepticons, and challenged Krang. Although Krang's two mutant henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, rushed to his defense, Starscream quickly gunned them down. Krang then took the opportunity to leap into his mech, firing on and wounding Starscream. However, the Decepticon retaliated, knocking Krang's mech over, destroying it. Seeing that he was outmatched, Krang made his escape, while Starscream gloated.

Meanwhile, the Gems sent another one of their operatives, Peridot, to begin invading Earth. Selecting a piece of land in the Fire Nation, Peridot set about claiming it as the Gems’ base of operations. However, this did not go unnoticed by Fire Lord Ozai's daughter, Princess Azula, who confronted Peridot, threatening her. Seeing that the princess far outclassed her, Peridot attempted to retreat, but Azula did not intend to let her escape. As Peridot tried to escape by running up a canyon wall, Azula blasted a piece of debris with lightning, causing it to fall on top of Peridot and send her plummeting to the ground. However, Peridot survived and attempted to make a run for it, but was pursued by Azula. Seeing that she could never escape on foot, Peridot transformed her hand into helicopter blades, allowing her to fly away and escape. However, Azula was unconcerned, certain that Peridot and her allies would return.

After his victory against Cyril Sneer, Mr. Burns continued to expand his business empire. This caught the attention of Sneer's former business partner, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, CEO of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, who decided to eliminate Burns himself. Hearing of this and fearing for his life, Burns decided to contact an old business associate, Sheldon J. Plankton, and tasked him with getting rid of the troublesome doctor. Plankton agreed, and attacked Doofenshmirtz's headquarters in a robotic battle suit. Doofenshmirtz immediately used his building's security measures to briefly stun Plankton, allowing him to retreat to the roof, followed by Plankton. Doofenshmirtz then prepared a large ray gun, threatening to obliterate Plankton. However, Plankton decided to use a new tactic, launching out a small scout robot from his suit. This briefly distracted Doofenshmirtz, giving Plankton the opportunity to knock him off the roof, leaving the doctor to fall to his death.

Meanwhile, Bill Cipher, beginning the next phase of his plan, opened a portal into his home dimension, summoning two beings, Nergal and Jack O’Lantern. Bill had hoped to recruit them as henchmen in his schemes. Unfortunately, although Nergal seemed cooperative enough, Jack O'Lantern had his own plans, and intended on eliminating Bill and taking his place. Using a magic scythe, Jack summoned an army of pumpkin creatures, ordering them to destroy Cipher. Unimpressed, Bill easily obliterated Jack's minions, terrifying the pumpkin. Bill then banished Jack back to his own dimension, never to be seen again. Impressed by Bill's power, Nergal agreed to work with him, much to Bill's glee.

In the Technodrome, a meeting was held, with Dr. Claw, Demona, Negaduck, and Slade (who was revealed to have survived his battle with Zemo) in attendance. Their hosts, the Shredder and Krang, then revealed themselves. Shredder explained his plans to use the war to take over the entire world, and asked for their assistance in carrying out these plans. Intrigued, the four agreed to ally with him.

Meanwhile, Gargamel, who had managed to climb out of the river and was vowing vengeance against his foes, was approached by No Heart, who offered him the chance to become his apprentice. Gargamel eagerly accepted.

In the Fire Nation, Azula informed her father of Peridot's attempted invasion, as Ozai worried about the threat this new enemy could pose to them.

Meanwhile, Skeletor and his forces arrived on Earth to begin their conquest, an event which, unknown to them, was being observed by Cobra Commander and his allies.

Part Five[]

Seeking to strengthen their newly formed alliance, Slade decided to call in his deal with the HIVE Academy, gaining the services of their top students, Gizmo, Jinx, Mammoth, See-More, and Private Hive, otherwise known as the HIVE Five. Placing them under the leadership of Negaduck, Slade decided to test their abilities by sending them to take down a group of assassins known as the Pack, consisting of Fox, Wolf, Dingo, Jackal, and Hyena. The group confronted the Pack at their studio, getting their attention by causing a bus to crash nearby. As Jackal and Hyena attempted to attack them, Private Hive knocked them back with a blast of water. Seeing what they were dealing with, Fox mobilized the group to take down their foes. As Gizmo advanced, Dingo downed him with a boomerang. Wolf rushed at Mammoth, but Mammoth proved to be the stronger of the two and caught his punch, allowing Jinx to send Wolf flying with a blast of magic. Seeing their allies fall, Fox and Dingo attempted to come to their aid. However, Negaduck blasted a hole through a wall, burying them in rubble. Finding themselves outmatched by the super-powered teens, the Pack retreated, much to Negaduck's pleasure.

The group of teenage delinquents known as the Gangreen Gang, led by Ace, were wandering the streets, looking for opportunities to cause trouble as they normally would. After a while, they came across a group of seemingly defenseless children, and began picking on them, taunting them and promising to "show them how to have fun". However, the children, known as the Delightful Children From Down The Lane, were nowhere near as harmless as they looked, and quickly demonstrated this by pulling out a laser and zapping the Gang. The Delightful Children then used another of their devices to knock out the other members of the Gang, leaving only Ace. As Ace tried to talk his way out of the situation, the Children responded by knocking him out as well. With the Gang beaten, the Delightful Children departed.

Still in the process of building his and the Green Goblin's criminal empire, the Joker began assembling a new gang to aid them in their criminal endeavors. To this end, Joker freed an old henchman of his, Sideshow Bob, from prison and rehired him. However, despite feigning cooperation, Bob was still bitter against his old boss for leaving him to rot in jail for so many years, and had been secretly paid by someone very powerful to eliminate the Clown Prince of Crime. A few days later, as Joker met with Bob to check on his progress, Bob decided to make his move, stabbing Joker in the stomach. Badly wounded, Joker attempted to flee, but found himself cornered by Sideshow Bob. However, as Bob prepared to kill the clown, Joker revealed his secret weapon: a rubber fish filled with laughing gas. The gas caused Bob to start laughing maniacally against his will, breaking his mind and leaving him unable to kill Joker. As a final humiliation, Joker had the now insane Sideshow Bob locked up in Arkham Asylum.

In the wake of Doofenshmirtz’s death, Mr. Burns and Plankton decided to go into business together in hopes of profiting from the growing war. To this end, the two bought the remains of Doofenshmirtz’s corporation and integrated it into their own companies, creating a business empire that would provide weapons for the various factions and repair the collateral damages caused by the war. With their business booming, the two began to pursue an incredibly lucrative contract with Xanatos Enterprises. However, much to their ire, Xanatos ultimately decided to give the contract to a competitor of theirs, Flintheart Glomgold. Deciding that they could not let this insult stand, Burns and Plankton decided to hire the insane golfer, Duff Killigan, to assassinate Glomgold. Breaking into the old duck’s home, Killigan confronted Glomgold head on. Unfortunately for him, Glomgold activated his state-of-the-art security system, triggering a remote-controlled punch that sent Duff flying backwards. Frustrated, Killigan got back up and began launching exploding golf balls into the various mechanisms, destroying them. Having crippled the security system and made sure that there were no remaining defenses, Killigan advanced on the old duck and prepared to kill him, only for Glomgold to pull out a pistol and shoot Duff in the head.

Seeking to tie up a loose end left after Cobra’s conflict with Dr. Drakken, the Baroness (one of the Commander’s top operatives) sought to eliminate Drakken’s former second-in-command, Shego. Tracking her down to a remote location, Baroness entered Shego’s hideout and confronted her. Shego, however, was determined not to go down without a fight, and knocked the Baroness back with a blast of fire. Changing tactics, the Baroness tried to gain the high ground with a jetpack, only for Shego to throw a spear into it, forcing her back to the ground. Baroness then revealed a grenade and threw it at Shego. Although she was able to dodge the grenade, the force of the resulting explosion threw her into a wall. Unfortunately for Baroness, this only angered Shego, who bombarded her with several blasts of fire in quick succession. Severely wounded by this assault, Baroness was forced to retreat as Shego taunted her.

In Hell, Aku was enjoying his reign over his new domain. He was not able to enjoy it for long, however, as he was interrupted by the arrival of a powerful sorcerer known as Skullmaster, who challenged him for the throne of Hell. Not wanting to dirty his own hands at the moment, Aku summoned his top minion, Demongo the Soul Collector, and ordered him to destroy the intruder and collect his soul. Skullmaster, however, was thoroughly unimpressed by the demon and mocked him. Demongo, eager to please his master, attacked Skullmaster by throwing a skull projectile at him, only for Skullmaster to block it with his sword. Demongo quickly followed this attack with a blast of magic, stunning the sorcerer. However, Skullmaster merely shrugged off the attack, and retaliated with a powerful spell. The attack greatly weakened Demongo, causing the various souls stored in his body to leave him, thereby draining him of his power. With Demongo reduced to a small withered husk, Skullmaster simply crushed him in his fist. Shocked to see his top minion defeated, Aku decided to step in, knocking Skullmaster to the ground with a pair of thrown fireballs. Realizing that he was outmatched, Skullmaster fled atop his pet dragon, allowing the throne of Hell to remain in Aku’s possession.

Aku, despondent after Demongo's defeat, decided it might be time to start gathering powerful allies in anticipation of other threats he might face. Hoping to gain an ally in the mortal world, Aku decided to pay a visit to the one who first summoned him: Fire Lord Ozai.

In the Fire Nation, Ozai and Azula were shocked to receive a visit from Aku, who offered an official alliance with the Fire Nation. Realizing the usefulness of having a powerful being like Aku on their side, especially given they had faced, the two accepted the demon's offer, much to Aku's delight.

Shego, realizing that the recent attempt on her life would most likely not be the last, decided to seek out a powerful ally in hopes of surviving the war. Hearing that Mojo Jojo was building up an army, she traveled to the Ice Kingdom and offered him a partnership, which Mojo gladly accepted.

Bill Cipher and Nergal continued watching the events of the war unfold from afar, all the while making plans to bring about their ultimate endgame: a cataclysmic event they called "Weirdmaggedon." In the interest of making these plans a reality, Bill decided to hire the services of Vlad Plasmius, bring him into their faction.

As Shredder was celebrating the success of the HIVE Five, Krang informed him of his recent defeat at the hands of the Decepticon scouts, and requested an upgrade that would allow him to do more in the war. Shredder agreed, installing him in a new android body.

Meanwhile, the Delightful Children From Down The Lane reported to their master, the enigmatic Father.

Part Six[]

On Homeworld, Jasper and Peridot reported back to the ruler of the Gems, Yellow Diamond, who reprimanded them for their failures and temporarily suspended them from duty. For the time being, Yellow Diamond decided to instead rely on one of their closest allies, the intergalactic despot Lord Hater, to continue carrying out their invasion.

Wanting to expand his ranks, Aku sought out his powerful but estranged brother, Discord, hoping to bring him into his forces. However, he was shocked to discover that Discord had already fallen by someone else's hand during the war. Seeing this, Aku became determined to bring his brother back.

Having recently arrived on Earth, Skeletor and his forces sought to establish themselves on this world. Finding a mountain that bore an uncanny resemblance to their original lair in Eternia, Skeletor chose it as their new base of operations, dubbing it "New Snake Mountain." At that moment, however, Lord Hater and his army arrived, hoping to take the mountain for the Gems. Angered by their intrusion, Skeletor stepped forward to deal with the tyrant, blasting him aside with his magic. Hater, enraged that anyone would dare challenge him, retaliated with a blast of energy, only for Skeletor to dodge this attack and knock him back with another blast. Growing increasingly frustrated, Hater flew at Skeletor in a last ditch attempt to kill him. However, Skeletor took this opportunity to blast him head on, sending him flying backwards off of a cliff, leaving Hater to fall to his death.

The cruel roboticist Doctor Julian Robotnik had succeeded in ascending to become absolute ruler of Robotropolis and extending his tyrannical reign over the city. Unfortunately, a rival conquer, Mother Brain, had also hoped to take over Robotropolis herself for some time, and was none too pleased that Robotnik had beaten her to it. Determined not to let Robotnik thwart her so easily, Mother Brain gathered her army and laid siege to Robotropolis, and sent a transmission to the doctor, encouraging him to surrender while he still could. Robotnik, however, refused, and swore to make Mother Brain pay for challenging him. Amused, Mother Brain ordered her troops to begin attacking directly, while Robotnik had his nephew, Snively, deploy the SWATBots to repel the invaders. With Mother Brain’s two generals, King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard, leading the troops, her army clashed with Robotnik’s robotic soldiers. Despite Mother Brain’s troops taking an early advantage, Robotnik’s soldiers were eventually able to overpower them. While the frontal assault was taking place, a few attempted to sneak into the city through the sewer tunnels. However, they were quickly noticed by Snively, who activated the traps within the tunnels, sending them packing. Despite the success of Robotnik’s troops, it did little to halt Mother Brain’s army, who continued to advance. This mattered little, as while the battle had been raging, Robotnik had used the time to pinpoint Mother Brain’s location, and decided to end the battle personally. As Mother Brain watched the battle remotely from her throne room, Robotnik burst in, determined to put an end to his enemy for good. Despite being caught off guard, Mother Brain still taunted Robotnik, asserting her superior power. However, Robotnik, taking a quick glance around the room, quickly noted her weak spot: the controls on her tank apparatus. Firing a laser from his wrist, Robotnik succeeded in damaging the controls, causing Mother Brain’s tank to short-circuit. Robotnik laughed with glee as Mother Brain exploded from the damage, leaving him the victor of the battle and undisputed ruler of Robotropolis.

The rogue warlord Duke Igthorn had succeeded in assembling an army of Ogres, and set out to win the war by conquering kingdoms and territories throughout the land. This grab for power did not go unnoticed by Toffee, who feared that the duke could prove to be an annoyance and sought to get rid of him before he could become a threat. Ludo, eager to prove himself after his previous defeat, volunteered to deal with him. Seeing that he wouldn't lose much whether or not Ludo failed, Toffee agreed, as Ludo gathered his minions and set out to bring down the rogue duke. Confronting Igthorn as he was in the midst of scoping out his next potential conquest, Ludo challenged the duke to a battle. Calling forth his Ogres, Igthorn sicced them on the monsters, while Ludo's army charged into battle against them. Despite Ludo's monsters being able to take down a few of them with ease, the Ogres had an advantage in their superior strength and knowledge of the terrain. Uprooting a few trees, the Ogres vaulted them at the monsters, incapacitating several of them. As Igthorn's army began to take the advantage, Ludo desperately attempted to rally his troops. However, it was too late, as Igthorn chose that moment to reveal his secret weapon: a magic potion that would grant it's user superhuman strength. Drinking the potion, Igthorn personally entered the battle and, with a single powerful punch, toppled Ludo's entire army, leaving the monsters unconscious and defeated. Seeing that Ludo and his monsters were no threat to him, Igthorn departed to his next conquest, leaving Ludo to fume with anger.

Glomgold, having deduced that Mr. Burns and Plankton were behind the attempt on his life, sought to retaliate against them. To this end, he hired Megavolt (the only other member of the Fearsome Five that managed to escape after their defeat) to eliminate Plankton. Easily tracking the businessman down down, Megavolt broke into one of his factories, where Plankton had stayed late to finish some work. Shocked by the intrusion, Plankton activated his security system, mobilizing several robots to take Megavolt down. Unfortunately for him, Megavolt managed to easily overpower and destroy each of the robots However, Plankton still had one last ace in the hole, as he activated his newest and most powerful robot yet, Darrell. Making a dramatic entrance, Darrell quickly demonstrated how formidable he was by blasting Megavolt all the way across the room, winding the rat. However, Megavolt quickly recovered, and knocked Darrell back with a surge of electricity. Using a laser sword, Megavolt proceeded to slice Darrell's arm off, leaving the robot severely damaged. As Megavolt celebrated his supposed victory, however, the ever resilient Darrell got back up and punched the sword out of his hand. As Megavolt got tangled up in the wires connected to his sword, Plankton took the opportunity to plug it into a nearby outlet, electrocuting the rat. Darrell then proceeded to finish Megavolt off with several point-blank blasts of energy, knocking him unconscious and leaving him to be picked up by the police.

At their headquarters, Green Goblin called Valmont and his henchman before him to discuss rumors of a new player that had recently entered the war, known only as Father. The Goblin tasked Valmont with either recruiting Father into their syndicate, or eliminating him altogether. Accepting the mission, Valmont traveled to Father's mansion, where he was greeted by the man himself. Valmont attempted to reason with him and negotiate an alliance, but Father had no interest in joining what he viewed as a small-time gang, and rebuffed Valmont, threatening him to leave lest he incur his wrath. Seeing that there was no further point in trying to be civil, Valmont ordered his men to dispose of Father. However, Father turned out to be a powerful firebender, and dispatched the thugs with ease. As Father turned his attention back to Valmont, the crime lord activated a magical element in his cane, causing it to fly forwards and knock Father into an open fireplace. Valmont then grabbed his cane and revealed a magical dagger hidden inside, preparing to finish his enemy. Father, however, quickly recovered, and, burning with rage, unleashed a barrage of fire onto Valmont, singing the crime lord. Father then transformed into a large, fiery dragon. Seeing that they were far outmatched, Valmont and his men fled the mansion. However, the battle was not a complete loss for Valmont, as once they had gotten far enough away, one of his henchman presented him with something they had managed to steal from the mansion before their escape: a certain magical talisman...

In the Fire Nation, Aku paid a second visit to Ozai. This time, he requested that Ozai preform a certain task for him as a sign of good faith to seal their alliance. The task: retrieve a valuable statue recently acquired by David Xanatos. Agreeing to these terms, Ozai decided to send his son, Prince Zuko, to infiltrate Xanatos’ home and steal the statue. Eager for any chance to gain his father's approval, Zuko set out to New York to complete his mission. Upon arriving at the Eyrie Building, Zuko was able to break in fairly easily. Unbeknownst to him, his entrance was viewed via the security cameras by Xanatos's assistant, Owen Burnett, who quickly activated the Steel Clan to repel the intruder. The androids quickly located the prince and closed in on him. Although Zuko attempted to stand his ground and fight them, their arsenal gave the robots an advantage, and they were able to send him flying backwards with a blast. However, this only made Zuko more determined, and he quickly got back up and attacked again. Leaping into the air, Zuko sliced through the androids with a fiery kick, sending them down for good. Moving on through the building, Zuko eventually found his target: the statue of Discord. Before he could take it, however, Owen burst into the room and shot at Zuko with his pistol. Thinking quickly, Zuko was able to block the blast with a wall of fire, leaving himself mostly uninjured. Owen then stepped forward to fight the fire prince one-on-one, determined to protect his boss's property. Unfortunately for him, Zuko would not let anything stop him from completing his mission. No longer pulling any punches, Zuko drew his swords and spun around, creating a powerful wind that knocked Owen back. Zuko followed this up with several blasts of fire, creating a fiery explosion. The smoke from the explosion forced Owen to back off and retrieve a gas mask to prevent himself from suffocating. This bought Zuko enough to time to secure the statue and prepare to leave. However, Owen refused give up so easily, and confronted Zuko one last time. Hoping to keep him down for good this time, the prince generated a blast of lightning, sending Owen flying backwards. Zuko then left with the statue, leaving an injured and frustrated Owen behind. Unbeknownst to either of them, Xanatos had been watching the entire confrontation remotely, and expressed disappointment at his prize being lost.

At a lodge in the country, the hunters Van Pelt and Elmer Fudd exchanged hunting stories, with Van Pelt mocking Fudd for his failure to capture any significant game. Tired of being seen as a laughing stock by his fellow hunters, Elmer angrily left the lodge, determined to return with a the pelt of a powerful beast in his possession. After wandering through the woods for some time, Fudd eventually came across a blue fox known as Scarface, a beast renowned for his strength and savagery. With the fox busy drinking from a stream, Elmer decided to take advantage of his distraction, and began to creep up behind him. Unfortunately, Scarface was eventually alerted to the hunter's presence, and turned around to attack him. Thinking quickly, Fudd took aim with his rifle and fired, wounding the fox. Seeing that the beast was injured, Elmer moved in to finish off his prey. However, Scarface was able to keep moving in spite of his injury, and dodged each of Elmer's shots. The fox then decided to go on the offensive, pouncing on Elmer and biting him on the leg. Realizing that Scarface was too much for him to handle, Fudd broke free and attempted to make a run for it. Unfortunately, Elmer was not let off so easily, as he ran into Scarface's master, the legendary Beast that ruled the forest. Frozen with terror, Fudd was unable to do anything but watch as the Beast closed in on him, devouring the unfortunate hunter as Scarface watched with sadistic glee.

On New Snake Mountain, Skeletor and his allies were busy plotting their next move, when they received a surprise visit from Cobra Commander and his entourage, who offered them an alliance. Realizing that he would need allies with resources on Earth if he was to successfully conquer the planet, the overlord of evil agreed to join forces with the terrorist leader. The two then began making their plans for domination.

Mirage paid a visit to Skullmaster, who had fled underground after his defeat at the hands of Aku, offering him a place in her and Toffee’s new empire. Skullmaster accepted the offer, convinced that all would tremble before their combined power, a notion that Mirage was all to eager to make a reality.

Although disappointed by the loss of his statue, Xanatos quickly moved on to other matters. Seeking to build up his forces to defend himself from attack, he decided to hire both the Pack and renowned geneticist Anton Sevarius to his side. More importantly, however, Xanatos had managed to intercept a transmission from Yellow Diamond on Homeworld, and saw that the alien conquerors could possibly be of some use to him...

Zuko brought the statue of Discord to the Fire Nation, where Ozai presented it to Aku. Using his powers, Aku broke the stone prison and freed his brother. At long last, Discord was ready to rejoin the war.

Meanwhile, having finally recovered from his battle with Aku, Mumm-Ra emerged from his tomb.

Part Seven[]

Seeking to make his return from the dead known to the world, Mumm-Ra returned his old temple to rally his armies back to his side. However, he soon found that in his absence, his soldiers had found a new leader: the sorcerer Scarab. Mumm-Ra demanded that Scarab step down, but the sorcerer wasn't too keen on giving up his new army so easily, and refused. Seeing that his soldiers had lost faith in him after his defeat and now saw Scarab as the more capable leader, Mumm-Ra realized that the only way to regain their loyalty would be to prove his superiority over Scarab. Mumm-Ra then issued a challenge to Scarab; the two would face each other in combat, and the winner would lead the army. Not wanting to look weak in front of his men, Scarab agreed to these terms, but added that Mumm-Ra would have to face his own warriors first. Scarab then sicced his personal guards on Mumm-Ra, but the mummy was able to make quick work of them, telekinetically flinging objects at them and shattering them. Seeing this, Scarab was forced to step in himself, and fired a killing spell from his staff. Mumm-Ra, however, was able to block the spell with ease, and boasted that Scarab would never be able to defeat him. At this point, Scarab decided to pull out all the stops, and transformed into a stronger, much more powerful form. In his new form, Scarab leapt at Mumm-Ra, knocking him to the ground. Hoping to capitalize on this brief victory, Scarab flew into the air and fired a blast of magic at his rival, only for Mumm-Ra to counter it with a spell of his own. Changing tactics, Mumm-Ra rushed Scarab head on, but fired a blast of magic at one of the pillars. With his attention focused on Mumm-Ra, Scarab was unable to react to the falling pillar in time, and was crushed under it, with his dead body falling limply to the ground. Seeing their new leader fall, the soldiers pledged their loyalty to Mumm-Ra once more.

Having been freed from his stone prison, Discord was welcomed back to the world of the living by his brother Aku. As the two brothers caught up, Discord discovered just how long he had been gone, and learned that in his absence, another creature of chaos had risen to take his place. Wanting to stretch his legs and remind the mortals of his power, Discord went to confront this new deity at his temple, where he challenged him to a battle of chaos. The creature, known only as Chaos, accepted this challenge, thinking it might be amusing. Discord began by transforming nearby woodland creatures into fearsome beasts to fight on his behalf. However, Chaos found himself in the strange position of restoring order for once, and transformed Discord's monsters back into harmless critters. Angered that Discord had pushed him to go against his nature in such a manner, Chaos pulled out all the stops and began to unleash a chaotic storm upon his rival. Terrified by this display and surprised by Chaos's power, Discord begged for mercy. Amused by how quickly Discord had been defeated, Chaos let his guard down for a moment. This turned out to be a mistake, as Discord had merely been feigning weakness, and took the opporunity to unleash his full power on Chaos, erasing him from existence.

Fearing that an old enemy, the Beast, may have returned, No Heart went to confront an old associate of the Beast, Eli Pandarus, for information as to his whereabouts. Pandarus refused to talk, however, and a battle of magic ensued. Pandarus summoned an army of trolls to fight for him, but No Heart disposed of them with ease, unleashing a blast of fire on them, before transforming into a rhinoceros and knocking the remaining trolls aside. While No Heart was distracted with the trolls, Pandarus took the opportunity to unleash a magical blast on him, seemingly obliterating No Heart. However, as Pandarus began to gloat, No Heart merely rematerialized elsewhere, taunting his opponent. Frustrated, Pandarus summoned magical hands from his wand, trapping No Heart in place. Unfortunately for him, No Heart quickly broke free, creating a shockwave that knocked Pandarus aside. Before Pandarus could recover, No Heart summoned magical hands of his own, slamming Pandarus against a wall and killing him. As No Heart was about to depart, however, he was approached by Van Pelt, who provided him with vital information about the Beast's whereabouts.

As the war continued to rage, the ruler of China, the demon sorcerer Shendu, strengthened his control over his domain, preparing for his entrance into the war. However, he soon found himself confronted by a Heylin witch named Wuya, who desired to rule China herself. Appearing before Shendu, Wuya baited the dragon into attacking her, only to stun him with a swift kick. Shendu quickly recovered, and knocked Wuya aside with a laser blast from his eyes. Shendu tried to follow this up with a second magical blast, but this one was far less effective, being turned into harmless mist by Wuya's magic. This allowed Wuya to retaliate with a blast of her own, tearing a hole straight through Shendu's chest and sending him flying against a wall. Unfortunately for her, this only made Shendu angrier, as the dragon quickly healed, and unleashed a magical barrage, forcing Wuya to leap for her life. Shendu then revealed his trump card: a magical box. Unprepared, Wuya was sucked into the box, trapping her forever.

Hoping to make up for the damage caused by Megavolt's attack, Mr. Burns hired a new assistant, Rancid Rabbit. However, news of Burns' recent expansion of his enterprise eventually reached the ears of the crime lord Fat Cat. Annoyed by Burns and Plankton doing business with his competitors, Fat Cat decided to cripple their operation. Using experimental A.I. technology stolen from Xanatos Enterprises, Fat Cat created a "glitch" named Giffany and sent her to invade Burns' company. Striking during a company gathering being held at Plankton's restaurant, Giffany began infecting Plankton's robots, overriding their programming and putting them under her control. Unable to stop her, Plankton turned to Rancid for help. Fortunately for him, Rancid had a solution, and brought in a contact of his, another "glitch" named Rob, and hired him to take down Giffany. Armed with a powerful remote, Rob entered the restaurant. His arrival was quickly detected by Giffany, however, who sicced her robot henchmen on him. One of them succeeded in knocking the remote from his hand. Fortunately, Rob was more than capable of defending himself, and began knocking the robots aside with punches. At this point, Giffany, inhabitating another of the robots, stepped in personally, stunning Rob with a blast of electricity. As Giffany advanced on Rob to finish him off, Rob managed to get back up and reclaim his remote. It was then that Rob noticed the disc containing the original copy of Giffany's programming. Deducing that this was Giffany's weakness, Rob used his remote to destroy the disc, erasing Giffany from the system.

A new evil genius named Mandark decided to make his entrance into the war. However, in his attempt to establish his dominance, he ended up stealing the spotlight away from Mojo Jojo, much to the ape's frustration. On Shego's advice, Mojo decided to show the other players in the war that he was not to be trifled with, by personally eliminating his rival. With this goal in mind, Mojo broke into Mandark's lab to take him out. Although Mojo attempted to make a dramatic entrance, Mandark didn't take him seriously at first. Angered, Mojo attacked Mandark, easily overpowering him in physical combat. Mandark called on his robot minions for help, only for Mojo to blast them apart with his laser cannons. However, this was only meant to distract Mojo, as while he was occupied with the robots, Mandark managed to activate his giant robot. Mojo, however, got into his own giant robot, and the two clashed. Unfortunately for Gobby, there is one thing he didn't account for, that being Joker’s new abilities...

With her plans for Earth coming to fruition, Yellow Diamond sends Vilgax to take care of one last loose end: Vexus. Vilgax tracks his target to a Robotropolitan colony being overseen by the robot queen herself. Vexus is a force to be reckoned with, but she may have met her match this time...

Mozenrath attempts to provoke the Shredder by insinuating that his faction sees him as a weak leader for allowing his minions to do all the fighting for him, and suggests that he personally challenge a powerful player to prove otherwise. Angered and with his pride wounded, Shredder decides to bring Krang with him to eliminate the mysterious warlord known only as the Dominator. Although Mozenrath hopes that Shredder will get himself killed on this mission, is it possible that he has underestimated the ninja lord?

Xanatos has been observing the recent events of the war, and having gotten everything he needs from the Gems, decides that it is time for him to end his dealings with them and focus on his own affairs. Not wanting to leave without upholding his end of their bargain, however, Xanatos sends the Pack into the Fire Nation capital to gain intel on the city. Although they are successful in gathering the needed information, they are discovered by three of the Fire Nation’s best warriors...

With the fairy trickster Puck now enslaved to his will, Toffee gives him his first task: retrieve an amulet known as the Phoenix Gate. The only problem? The gate is currently in the hands of Mozenrath, who is studying it to unlock it’s power. Mozenrath is formidable and willing to fight for what’s his, but what is a human magician against a fay?

Demona spies on Magestra, and is shocked to discover the truth: not only is she a spy for another faction, but she is in fact Skeletor’s consort Evil Lyn, sent to infiltrate and destabilize Shredder’s faction. Demona reveals herself and resolves to put an end to this traitor once and for all, but Evil Lyn, wielding the mystical Shaping Staff, proves to be quite a powerful opponent. Will she succeed in silencing Demona, or will some outside help save the gargoyle’s life?

Joker informs Valmont of the Green Goblin’s death and announces that he will be taking his place as the new Kingpin of Crime, promising him great rewards as long as he stays in line. Although suspicious, Valmont agrees to submit to Joker’s leadership for now.

Beginning his rise to power, Shredder broadcasts a message to the United Nations, in which he declares his intention to dominate the entire planet, and offers them a warning: surrender to him, or the consequences will be severe. To ensure that his threats are taken seriously, Shredder gives them (and by extension the entire world) a demonstration of what his new weapon is capable of...

Puck delivers the Phoenix Gate to Toffee, who succeeds in unlocking it’s abilities and prepares to use it to gain ultimate power.

Yellow Diamond meets with David Xanatos, who resigns from her forces, and offers the intel the Pack gathered as payment for her aid. Gladly accepting the information, Yellow Diamond orders her generals to begin mobilizing their army, as she prepares for an all-out attack on the Fire Nation capital, with the help of a secret new ally.

Demona and Slade inform Shredder of the recent developments with “Magestra.” Shredder, enraged by the presence of a traitor in his ranks, swears to weed out any others that may be lurking in his alliance.

Meanwhile, Joker takes advantage of some of the technology left behind by the Green Goblin, using it to further enhance his abilities.

The allied forces of the Gems and the Earth Empire launch a full-scale attack on the Fire Nation capital. With much of the Fire Nation's forces occupied elsewhere, the capital's defenses are completely unprepared for an attack, and are quickly overrun by the invading armies. Meanwhile, Yellow Diamond goes to personally deal with Fire Lord Ozai. The two rulers face off one on one, but an unexpected betrayal may tip the scales...

Hoping to acquire a source of power that will help him to make a substantial move against Shredder, Skeletor launches an all-out assault on the fortress of Skullmaster in hopes of claiming his Crystal Of Souls. While the two armies clash outside, Skeletor moves further into the fortress, where Skullmaster waits for him...

Having returned from his battle against Skullmaster, Skeletor hopes to begin weakening Shredder’s empire, beginning by sending Baron Zemo and the Masters Of Evil to eliminate some of his top assassins: the HIVE Five.

Seeing that the time is right for him to finally strike against the Beast, No Heart first wants to scout out the forest in preparation for an attack. Wanting scouts who the Beast won’t suspect of being associated with him, No Heart hires Van Pelt and his new partner for the job. However, while carrying out this mission, the hunters are met by two of the guardians of the Beast’s forest: Scarface and Goth.

The time for vengeance has finally come, as No Heart launches a surprise attack on the Beast. With most of the Beast’s minions either dead or having deserted him, Gargamel and the Ogres are able to easily dispatch his Troll bodyguards, while No Heart moves on to face his hated enemy alone. However, the Beast is able to use his complete control over the forest and his mastery of illusions to his advantage, summoning up a ghostly vision of No Heart’s deceased daughter in an attempt to break his spirit. Is this the end for No Heart?

Deciding that the time has come for him to bring about Weirdmaggedon, Bill Cipher sends Nergal and Vlad Plasmius to steal the inter-dimensional rift back from Aku. However, upon breaking into his lair, the two find the fortress protected by none other than Aku’s brother, Discord. While Vlad moves on to find the rift, Nergal faces off against Discord in a one-on-one duel...

Contrary to what Skeletor believed, the Crystal Of Souls was not actually destroyed in the battle, and merely expelled most of it’s energy, as Toffee, searching through the wreckage of Skullmaster’s lair, recovers the crystal and merges it with the Phoenix Gate, creating an object of unlimited power. With this object, Toffee is ready to proceed with the final phase of his plan.

With the Fire Nation capital in the hands of the Gems, Ozai and his remaining forces take refuge at Aku's fortress, where the Fire Lord entreats the demon's help. To honor their bargain, Aku summons a comet that, when it passes over in a week’s time, will increase the power of the fire benders tenfold. With this new advantage, Ozai and Azula eagerly begin planning their counter-attack.

In the Technodrome, Shredder rages over the loss of the HIVE Five. However, he is interrupted by the arrival of the Joker, who proposes an alliance and offers to lend his vast resources to Shredder’s war effort.

With the help of Robotnik, Vexus discovers exactly who sent Vilgax after her. Realizing the Gems aren't going to simply let her walk away, Vexus decides to go on the offensive.

The Diamonds promise to reward Father for his aid by making him the new Fire Lord once the Fire Nation is completely conquered.

Mr. Burns and Rancid Rabbit finally track down Rob, who went missing after his battle with Giffany. Burns promises to find a cure for his glitch-like form in exchange for his aid against Glomgold.

Realizing that Shredder's recent witch hunt is going to lead to some uncomfortable questions being asked, Mozenrath forms a conditional alliance with Alpha, who also has some secrets he would rather Shredder and Krang didn't know about. Alpha agrees to completely cover up Mozenrath's dealings with Magestra, in exchange for the use of some of Mozenrath's magic.

Newly empowered by the Crystal, Skeletor begins to explore what his new powers can do. Now that they finally have the edge they need over Shredder, Skeletor and Cobra Commander prepare for the endgame.

Finally, Vlad Plasmius delivers the rift to Bill, who immediately shatters it, opening a gateway to his dimension and allowing him to summon his army into our world.

Part Thirteen[]

Having brought his army into this dimension, Bill Cipher seeks to unleash them on the world. However, before he can do so, he finds that Aku has put a barrier around Gravity Falls, trapping his entire army within it’s borders.

While wandering through the chaos of Weirdmaggedon, Vlad Plasmius comes across a certain monster that was banished by Aku, who, thanks to Bill’s cataclysm, is free to wreak havoc once more.

With the war coming to an end, Burns and Plankton gather their allies to take down their rivals, with Plankton introducing a few of his relatives and a newly rebuilt Darrell as extra backup. Unfortunately, Glomgold has had a similar idea, and decides to hire the services of Don Karnage.

While scoping out Glomgold’s HQ in preparation for the attack, the Gangreen Gang are cut off by Glomgold’s security, the Beagle Boys, and a fight breaks out between the two gangs.

With the Beagle Boys dealt with, the rest of Burn’s forces charge in, catching Glomgold and his allies off guard. Glomgold, Fat Cat, Karnage, and his pirates face off against Burns, Rob, Fuzzy Lumpkins, Rancid, Darrell, and the Gangreen Gang, with Plankton aiding them remotely and waiting with backup...

With his forces defeated, Glomgold mounts one of his robots with the intent to wipe out his rival for good. Plankton and the others are overwhelmed by the arsenal of Glomgold’s robot, but Burns still has one last trick up his sleeve. Who will triumph in the battle of the businessmen?

With only one loose end left to tie up before his plan comes to fruition, Toffee agrees to give Puck his freedom in exchange for performing one final task: eliminate his old ally, Mirage.

Shredder decides that he has grown strong enough to finally take out his old rival, David Xanatos, and sends Slade to lead an attack on the Eyrie Building. Although the Pack are away, Coyote and the Thailog Shock Troopers are there to defend the building. Fortunately, Slade has planned for this, and sends out his own minion, Cinderblock, to deal with Coyote..

Despite the efforts of Sevarius and the Shock Troopers, Slade and his men are still able to infiltrate the main building, forcing Xanatos himself to step in and duel Slade personally. Has the mastermind finally met his match?

Unbeknownst to Slade, Xanatos merely faked being knocked unconscious, and escaped the castle before it’s destruction. Having successfully faked his death and escaped scot free from Shredder, Xanatos meets with Owen to plan his next move.

Furious about his betrayal, Mirage confronts Toffee. However, Toffee shocks her by revealing that he now holds the Wand, the one item more powerful than her. Realizing that she cannot kill Toffee just yet, Mirage leaves, vowing vengeance on her former ally.

Gathering his vast army together, Bill Cipher prepares to escape the barrier and spread Weirdmaggedon across the world, but not before giving Cathulu an upgrade...

Having defeated Xanatos and taken over New York, Shredder and his allies meet to discuss their plans for the final stages of the war. There, Shredder announces his plans to crush any remaining opposition by using his weapon on the capitals of the nations that have not surrendered to his rule, starting with Washington DC.

Fire Lord Ozai holds a meeting of his generals to discuss strategies for their upcoming attack on the Gem/Earth Empire, when Samhain arrives to warn Aku that Bill is about to escape the barrier. Aku and Discord then depart to deal with Bill, forcing Ozai and Azula to proceed with the attack without their support. Fortunately, Vexus arrives and offers her aid in taking down the Gems, which the royals gladly accept.

Mozenrath prepares his own army of monsters, and fulfills his deal with Alpha by giving him a magical boost in power.

In Ba Sing Se, the Diamonds ready their forces in anticipation of a siege, while giving Kuvira’s earthbenders the order to awaken the Cluster.

Aware that she cannot kill Toffee without help, Mirage makes a deal with No Heart, who gives her a spell from the Grimorum which is powerful enough to destroy both Toffee and the Wand.

Using the power of the Wand, Toffee prepares to unleash a great evil onto the world and crush the last person standing in his way. But can he possibly hope to kill Mirage?

At New Snake Mountain, Skeletor holds a meeting of his own faction, planning to strike against Shredder before he can conquer the world. With the new power he has gained and the information Evil Lyn has given him, Skeletor and his allies prepare for a surprise attack on Shredder’s HQ in New York.

Meanwhile, Aku raises the armies of Hell to do battle with Bill... The remaining factions prepare their armies for battle, all the while Weirdmaggedon draws closer.

Part Fourteen[]

In New York, Shredder and Krang are making final preparations for their attack on Washington DC. However, at that moment, Skeletor and his forces arrive, launching a surprise attack on the city. Seeing the oncoming forces, Shredder mobilizes his army for a defense, as Slade, Demona, and the others lead the robotic soldiers into battle. The front lines are commanded by the Huntsclan and Baron Zemo’s HYDRA forces, who begin to break through Shredder’s defenses. Seeing the strength of the enemy forces, Valmont decides to take his leave of Joker and Shredder, fleeing the city. Cobra’s air force, commanded by Destro, then launch an aerial assault on the Technodrome, laying waste to Slade’s soldiers. Megatron and the Decepticons then enter the fray, backed up by the Masters Of Evil. As the Foot Soldiers continue to hold the line against Cobra’s forces, Demona leaps into action, while Joker and his thugs begin to mount a defense, managing to make a dent in the advancing armies. Dr. Claw then arrives with reinforcements – a fleet of refurbished WW2 aircrafts – and engages Cobra Commander’s air force. As the battle continues, rivals face off against each other, and Shredder’s armies begin to push back the enemy forces. However, at that moment, Mozenrath decides to reveal his betrayal, as he and Alpha unleash their army of monsters and send them to attack both armies. Demona tries to kill Mozenrath, but is overwhelmed by his magic, and is thrown off a building to her apparent death. Enraged, Slade attacks Mozenrath to avenge his fallen comrade, but also finds himself outmatched. However, before the sorcerer has a chance to kill him, the mysterious hunter arrives and kills Mozenrath. The hunter then reveals himself as none other than Macbeth, before attacking Slade himself, hoping to take revenge for the loss of his kingdom. After a brutal battle, Macbeth ultimately overcomes Slade and tosses him off a cliff, finally gaining his vengeance.

Meanwhile, the Fire Nation’s navy (commanded by Zhao) and airship fleet (led by Azula), advance on the Earth Kingdom for an attack on the Gems. Seeing them coming, Yellow Diamond sends out Emerald and Vilgax to launch an aerial attack on the fleet. With Vexus’s help, however, Zhao’s forces are able to shoot them down. The army then lands on the shores of the Earth Kingdom, before making their way to Ba Sing Se. With their firebending powered up by Aku’s Comet, they are able to blast through the walls and advance into the city, where they are met by the Gem army. With Chase Young and Charmcaster leading the charge, and Azula’s airships backing them up, the Fire Nation troops begin to push through the enemy lines, only to be headed off by the Colossus, piloted by Kuvira, which begins laying waste to the Fire Nation’s army. Regrouping, Azula and her allies combine their powers in a coordinated attack that succeeds in bringing the Colossus down. The battle goes on, as Vilgax returns to the battlefield, and Azula’s forces begin to sustain heavy losses. Compounding this, the Colossus rises again, forcing Azula to change her tactics. Noticing a weak point in the mech’s armor, Azula sends Chase and Zuko to bring it down from the inside. Vexus faces off against Vilgax once more. This time, Vexus’s trickery allows her to deal the alien a decisive defeat. Meanwhile, inside the Colossus, Chase confronts Kuvira personally, keeping her busy while Zuko sabotages the mech’s power source, finally destroying the Colossus. As the Fire Nation and Cluster troops begin to force the Gems back, Azula seeks out Jasper, provoking her into a rematch. The two engage in a brutal fight, but Azula ultimately triumphs over her old enemy, obliterating her with a blast of lightning. Just as it appears that the Fire Nation has won, the Diamonds themselves step into the fray, using their ships to awaken the Cluster. The massive weapon unleashes hell on the Fire Nation forces, while Yellow and Blue Diamond, aided by Father, duel Azula and Chase, finally taking down the duo. However, it turns out that Azula and Chase were merely buying time for Charmcaster, who casts a powerful spell that forces the Cluster back underground. At that moment, reinforcements arrive in the form of a second airship fleet, led by Fire Lord Ozai himself. As Azula and her allies vacate the battlefield, Ozai rains fire onto the Gems, eradicating the entire army, including the Diamonds themselves. With their forces destroyed, Kuvira and the other survivors are forced to surrender, while Father, Peridot, and Lapis make their escape, leaving Ozai and Azula victorious.

In New York, the battle continues to rage, as Krang uses his alien technology to grow to an enormous size, going on a rampage against Skeletor’s forces. Seeing this, Brain uses his own size ray to grow large enough to match Krang, beginning a brawl between the two giant geniuses. Despite Mozenrath’s death, his army continues to fight on, now being led by Alpha. Mumm-Ra and the Huntsclan fight to hold them back, while the Huntsman engages Alpha himself. Despite Alpha gaining an early advantage due to the magical mutations he has recieved, the Huntsman ultimately defeats his opponent and seemingly kills him. Seeing an opportunity now that the monster army is leaderless, Baron Zemo has Enchantress cast a spell to take control of the monsters. However, before the spell is completed, they are interrupted by Negaduck, who is eager to settle the score with Zemo. The two duel, but Zemo manages to get the draw on Negaduck. Before he can kill him, however, he is stopped by none other than Slade, who survived his fall. Slade and Zemo then engage in a long overdue rematch. With Negaduck’s aid, Slade triumphs over his old enemy, before killing him with his own sword. Seeing Zemo fall, Enchantress teleports away, breaking her control over the monsters, and leaving Mumm-Ra and the Huntsman to finish them off. Krang and Brain continue their battle, as Krang begins to gain the upper hand. Seeing this and fearing for his friend’s life, Pinky intervenes to save him, using the size ray to shrink both of them back down to size. Meanwhile, in the skies, Cobra Commander and Dr. Claw continue to battle, ending with Cobra finally gaining the advantage and shooting Claw down. Seeing that the tide of battle is turning, Joker makes an attempt on Skeletor himself, managing to shoot him out the sky. Joker then engages Skeletor in a fight, and although Joker’s powers do give him an edge, Skeletor ultimately proves to be stronger, and leaves Joker badly beaten. With the Decepticons driving Shredder’s remaining forces away, Skeletor decides the time has come to end the battle for good. Having charged up his power over the course of the battle, Skeletor unleashes a powerful spell that eradicates the entire Foot Soldier army at once. With the enemy forces decimated, Skeletor’s forces quickly secure the battlefield. Seeing that the battle is lost, Shredder’s remaining generals decide to flee, while Shredder himself retreats further into the Technodrome, deciding to make one final desperate play for victory. What he doesn’t know, however, is that Skeletor has managed to follow him inside.

Weirdmaggedon is about to begin! Bill has managed to weaken the barrier just enough for one of his monsters to escape, and thus sends out Cthulu to begin ushering in his reign of chaos. Cthulu immediately sets about spreading destruction, but a certain spirit of chaos arrives to stop his rampage.

Having successfully destroyed the Diamonds, Ozai returns to the reclaimed capital city in triumph. However, he is met by Father, who challenges him to an Agni Kai for the crown. The two brothers face off in one last showdown, with the prize being the throne of the Fire Nation.

With her new spell in hand, and backed up by an army of her minions, Mirage returns to Toffee’s castle, seeking to destroy the wand and wreak her vengeance on her former ally before he can carry out his plan. Will she take her revenge, or is she merely playing right into Toffee’s hands?

Immediately after sending out Cthulu, Bill Cipher sends Vlad Plasmius (who is able to escape the barrier due to being partially human) to activate a satellite that will further weaken the barrier. However, not long after after launching the satellite, Plasmius is confronted by Samhain, who has been sent by Aku to shut down Vlad’s operation.

With their forces defeated, Shredder and Krang make a desperate attempt to use their super-weapon to wipe out the enemy army. Unfortunately, they are interrupted by Skeletor, who has broken into the Technodrome hoping to settle the score with his enemy. In order to buy Krang time to activate the weapon, Shredder faces off against Skeletor one-on-one, in a climactic duel that will decide the final outcome of the war.

Despite Vlad’s failure, the satellite remained active just long enough to suit Bill’s goals, allowing the dream demon to finally break down the barrier. Now free, Bill’s army of demons, monsters, and criminals spread across the planet and begin to unleash hell on Earth, striking at Robotropolis, the Fire Nation, on the seas, and finally, New York, where the forces of Skeletor have just concluded their battle. The remaining forces make an attempt to fight back, but even with the arrival of Xanatos and the timely interference of No Heart, Bill’s armies still prove to be unstoppable. Just as it appears that all hope is lost, Aku, Discord, and Samhain make their appearance on the battlefield, bringing the armies of Hell with them, as an epic clash ensues. Will the world be consumed by chaos and darkness? Or will Aku and Discord bring about Bill Cipher’s ultimate undoing?

With Weirdmaggedon over, it appears that the first war has finally come to an end.

Having recovered from his encounter with Bill, No Heart pays one last visit to his daughter’s grave, bidding her a final farewell.

Having finally made it back to Earth, Vlad Plasmius witnesses the failure of Weirdmaggedon and the fall of his master, and decides to take matters into his own hands.

Reconstruction starts on the Eyrie Building, as Xanatos returns home and reunites with his family, including two foster children he took in some time ago following the death of their mother.

Fire Lord Ozai claims control of the Earth Kingdom, declaring himself the Phoenix King. Kuvira and her remaining allies are imprisoned, while Azula takes command of the Dai Li.

With Shredder gone, Slade takes leadership of the remnants of his faction, while Negaduck steps in to fill the power vacuum left by Joker’s disappearance, becoming the new Kingpin of Crime.

Meanwhile, Demona, who survived the Battle Of New York, wakes up from a coma, only to discover that Mozenrath's spell had an unexpected side effect.

Skeletor, with Shredder's territories added to his own conquests, and the rest of the world in shambles after Weirdmaggedon, takes the opportunity to seize control of the planet. Skeletor proclaims himself ruler of Earth, adding it to his completed Galactic Empire, while Cobra Commander is appointed as ruler of the United States.

Shredder, defeated and banished by Skeletor, finds himself alone in an unfamiliar place.

Aku and Discord celebrate their victory and their cemented status as the most powerful beings in the cosmos. or so they think. As it turns out, Toffee’s plan was successful, as with both Mirage and Bill Cipher destroyed, their spell is undone, and an old evil believed to long destroyed is able to make his return. It seems that the true war has only just begun.
