Captain Jack Sparrow is the captain of the Black Pearl and a legendary pirate operating in the Caribbean, known for accomplishing the impossible. Although he only truly serves himself, he often finds himself roped into helping the forces of good against such villains as Captain Barbossa, Davy Jones, and Blackbeard. He appears in the second Disney Heroes vs Villains as one of the prominent heroes of the live-action universe.

Captain Jack Sparrow sails to Port Royal for a new score to settle when he is spotted by the French Captain Rochefort. As he rallies his men, Rochefort sends them to capture the pirate. Taking Elizabeth Swann hostage, Jack uses the distraction to make his escape, tossing Elizabeth aside in the process. Seeing Jack overpowering their forces with ease, Cardinal Richeleiu and Rochefort send their remain men to apprehend the criminal, leaving the pirate to escape the town with Richeleiu's men in hot pursuit.

On the run, Jack hides in a smithy where William Turner, the owner's apprentice, is residing. As soon as he draws his pistol, Jack gets knocked out by Maxim Horvath, leaving his unconscious body to be taken by Captain Rochefort. He, in turn, delivers him to the Fort Charles Prison as a new prisoner. When several inmates make attempts to tempt the prison dog with bones in order the get the keys from its mouth, Jack scorn their efforts, thinking it impossible for them to escape.
