Disney Vs Non Disney Villains - Part Two
Blitzwing, along with his fellow Decepticon, Lugnut, flies through Emperor Zurg's airspace. Warp Darkmatter, Zurg's top agent, shoots Blitzwing down, citing the violation. Neither Lugnut nor Blitzwing take kindly to the attack. After Darkmatter summons a horde of Hornets to take the transformers down, the two enter missile mode. They easily destroy all the technologically inferior hornets. For his measure, Blitzwing also disintegrates Darkmatter's blaster rifle. Darkmatter flees rather than engage in a losing fight.
The Battle of Planet Z
Blitzwing and Lugnut both participate in the Battle of Planet Z. The two encounter Warhok and Warmonga, two of Zurg's lieutenants. Though Warhok manages to briefly incapacitate Lugnut, Blitzwing annihilates him with missiles from his plane mode. In his robot form, he proceeds to kill Warmonga with a laser cannon. With their enemies defeated, Blitzwing and Lugnut take out several of Zurg's Hornets. However, Gravitina emerges and binds their arms; the two Decepticons are captured and defeated.
Non Disney Villains Tournament
Prior to the events of the war, Blitzwing and Lugnut fell from the sky. Doctor Mindbender discovered and upgraded the two robots, programming them to serve Cobra Commander. The two are sent into battle against Suzaku Kururugi and his Lancelot Knightmare. Blitzwing opens fire upon the mech, but Suzaku's shields are able to absorb the blast. Suzaku then pummels Blitzwing with a swift downward kick. Blitzwing crashes but is not out for the count. However, his wings suffer damage. Lugnut gives Blitzwing lift into the air, but this is just the opportunity Suzaku needs to shoot both out of the sky.
Cobra Commander gives Megatron control over the transformers, in exchange for help in defeating the Black Knights. During the battle, Blitzwing fires upon both Suzaku Kururugi and Jeremiah Gottwald, though neither of his shots manage to do any damage. He is more successful in killing some of the lesser Black Knights. Unfortunately for Blitzwing, Megatron falls in a suicidal strike from Gottwald, giving command of the Decepticons to Starscream.
