Batty Koda is one of the main protagonists of the animated movie, Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, and it's subsequent appearance, Ferngully: The Magical Rescue. A massive Mega-Bat, Batty Koda serves as the comic relief of the movie and also as the helpful adviser to his fairy friends, including Crysta and Pips. Though, keeping a distance with the humans, Batty Koda, seemingly, joins the kind hero, Zak Young, into their group, and together, they stop the malevolent spirit, Hexxus. When the forces of evil threaten the Fergully Rainforest, during the events of Heroes vs. Villains War, Batty Koda is one of the main heroes, who make a stand against the threat.
