During a meeting, Baron Strucker, alongside the Grim Reaper and numerous HYDRA loyalists, invaded Maleficent's base of operations, hoping to rise back up to power. The combined efforts of Hook and Hades were enough to take down the Grim Reaper, while Ursula's magic destroyed many of the soldiers' weapons. However, Strucker managed to fight back by activating his robot guard. This prompted Ursula to desert the faction. After the robot was destroyed by Hades, Hook managed to get close enough to Strucker to stab his sword through his arm (the main source of Strucker's power), subduing him. |

Usurped by Doctor Doom
After defeating Frollo in the first stages of the tournament, Doctor Doom invaded HYRDA Island, hoping to usurp Strucker's position for the coming war. After being defeated in battle by Doom, Strucker and his partner in crime, the Grim Reaper, retreated.
