Later on, after Maleficent and Pete were both trapped in the AIM super computer, Hades, Ursula, and Captain Hook were all left watching their headquarters. It is unknown where Avalanche was at this time. During a meeting, Baron Strucker, alongside the Grim Reaper and numerous HYDRA loyalists, invaded Maleficent's base of operations, hoping to rise back up to power. The combined efforts of Hook and Hades were enough to take down the Grim Reaper, while Ursula's magic destroyed many of the soldiers' weapons. However, Strucker managed to fight back by activating his robot guard. This prompted Ursula to desert the faction. After the robot was destroyed by Hades, Hook managed to get close enough to Strucker to stab his sword through his arm (the main source of Strucker's power), subduing him. |

Strucker is initially in control of HYDRA Island and the various military forces at work there. However, Doctor Doom arrives in an attempt to seize the island from him.
