Athena is both the Godess of War and Goddess of Wisdom and also the daughter of Zeus and the half-sister of Ares. This incarnation is featured in the video game series, "God of War". A neutral character and a deuteragonist in many installments of the video game franchise. Athena marks her first appearance, yet minor, in Animated Vs Video Game Villains War.

Stayed in the outskirts of the war, Athena was confronted by one of her father's recent enemies, the animated version of Hades. The God of the Underworld wants to kill the Goddess of the Wisdom on purpose to make his name known in Greece and also revealing her father weakness. Athena demands to Hades, leaving Greece at once. A furious Hades then lights up. Before Athena interacts, Hades fired at full power at the goddess, killing her. Zeus then watches in horror at the death of his child and swears revenge at his rival before he disappears, much to Hades's joy.
