Ashley Funicello Spinelli
Ashley Funicello Spinelli, commonly referred as Spinelli by her peers, is one of the main heroines of the Disney's television series Recess. One of the best friends of T.J. Detweiler, Spinelli appears as the tough and rebellious tomboyish member of the Recess Gang, frequently using violence as means to defend herself. Occasionally, she also serves as a substitute leader of the team in the event of Detweiler's absence. She chose the name Spinelli to avoid any relation with the fashionable clique of the Ashleys. She also appears in the second Heroes vs. Villains, assisting T.J. and his friends in their adventures throughout the events of the war.
