Aqua

Aqua is one of the major protagonists of the Square Enix's video game series Kingdom Hearts. An endowed Keyblade Master, Aqua was tutored in the Land of Departure alongside with the Keyblade Master-in-training Terra and the amnesiac Ventus, where she formed new bonds with her teammates. Following her ascension as Master, Aqua was assigned to find answers on Master Xehanort's true goals, eventually joining forces with her compatriots to stop Xehanort to access the power of Kingdom Hearts in the Keyblade Graveyard. Still, the battle took its toll on her friends, with Ventus remaining asleep and Terra being possessed by Xehanort. Wanting to save Ventus from Xehanort, Aqua placed him in the Land of Departure, before she would transform the realm to Castle Oblivion, hoping to throw others off their trails. In an attempt to save Terra, she plunged into the Realm of Darkness following the suicide effort of Terra, where she casted him to the Realm of Light, only to become imprisoned in the realm instead. Since then, she aimlessly wandered the Realm of Darkness, slowly succumbing to the darkness.

Long after, a corrupted Aqua met Riku, King Mickey, and Sora, who bested her in battle, leaving her to return to her senses before she would return to the Realm of Light. There, she awoke Ventus in the renovated Land of Departure through the efforts of Sora, before she would join him in his cause to stop Xehanort's scheme. In the midst of the chaos, Aqua and Ventus reunited with Terra, thanks to Sora's effort from releasing him from Xehanort's grip. Now reunited, the three joined forces with the other Guardians of Light to stop Xehanort, eventually succeeding in bringing an end to his master plan.

Aqua also appears in the second Disney Heroes vs. Villains in a role similar to the original series, this time being portrayed as one of the Fallen Masters.
