Anubis is the Egyptian deity associated with death and mummification, known by his trademark jackal head. He is a neutral force in Gargoyles, appearing as one of the Children of Oberon. His main task is to prevent mortals from achieving godhood and immortality through unethical means, revealing the consequences of said actions that would reach beyond the comprehension of the mortal mind. He is a minor player in Disney Villains War and the second and third parts of Disney vs Marvel Villains War.
