The Ankylosaurus is a genus of armored dinosaur, predating to have existed about 68–66 million years ago, in western North America, making it among the last of the non-avian dinosaurs. They are featured as minor, yet hazardous, nuisances in the animated film Turok: Son of Stone, and as minor characters in Heroes vs. Villains War, briefly appearing in Sharptooth's attack against the Stegosaurus.
