The Ancient Temple is one of the efficient locations in the Dreamworks' animated film, The Road to El Dorado. A massive hollow structure based and modeled after a real Aztec temple located at the Golden City of El Dorado, serving as its main sight, the ancient temple appears as the main residence of the sinister shaman Tzekel Kan, though the trespassers Miguel, Tulio, and Chel also inhabit the temple, while roleplaying as gods. The temple also appears to have a giant jaguar golem, which Tzekel Kan uses to bring to life on purpose to annihilate his enemies.
